S’AMUSE is founded by Vermont artist Sam Talbot-Kelly. My art and blog looks at specific relationships about human identity. My projects explore the relationship between artifice and the ‘natural’ at the intersections of cloth, the body, science and technology in solo and collaborative based projects.
With performance and ‘dress’ I re-imagine identity in the relationships between the fantasy and the real. The character carries the message, the plot is the material and the story unravels like a poem.
